Cercestis mirabilis

I received a very nice package today from Dr. Josef Bogner in Germany.  Josef wrote the published description of the species and sent his original photos of specimens of Cercestis mirabilis photographed in Gabon, Africa.  These primarily show the plant in the adult form and include a color photo of the inflorescence of the species.

For those that have never seen this ornate aroid once it morphs you might want to take a look.  The adult looks nothing like the plant many of us grow.  Now all I need is a big tree to let it climb!

Thanks Josef!  I'll return all the originals shortly.
