Thanks Tom.  We'll keep searching for answers and wish the best to Dr. Mansell.

Dick disposed of most of his aroid collection when he contracted cancer and was also devastated by drought one summer.  Some went to Lynn Hannon and I now have her stuff but I don’t remember seeing this plant at all.

If anyone is looking for an Aroid person a good place to start is the "Aroider" list on the IAS site www.aroid.org

Does anyone know Dr. Richard Mansell?  There is a plant in a friend's collection tagged "Philo Dr. Mansell" with a mention about Richard Mansell.  Both he and I can find Dr. Mansell's name on the internet but the email address is bad.  My friend would love to find out more about this plant and if possible the origin.  I'm attaching a photo. Thanks! Steve Lucas
