evaluation

i'm a grad student and i'm starting to write a short paper about the 
benefits of community gardens in building communities.

I'm trying to find out a bit about evaluation of gardens. I know that a ton 
of studies have been done on them, but is it anyone's experience that you've 
actually evaluated the effects of your own community garden on the people 
involved and the greater community?
