Here are a couple of publications I used when doing research for one of the
Urban Impacts:

1) Urban Open Space: An Investment that Pays, 1990 A Monograph Series - Real
Estate Values
published by the Neighborhood Open Space Coalition, New York NY
(This publication looks more at the historical significance and value of
open space, doesn't include much current stuff)

2) Revitalizing Cities/The Economic Benefits of Parks and Open Space
published by The Trust for Public Land (recent, but can't find year)
(May be able to access this through their website: www.tpl.org or, more
specifically:
www.tpl.org/newsroom/reports/econbenz/benefits.html

As always, though, these findings speak more to the benefits or larger-scale
projects, and don't talk too much about the economic impact in communities
(parks, though, are touched on).
