Gardens & Power Lines

We have a planned Community Garden site under power lines in Sacramento. I
was wondering if there are any studies of power lines and working under
them, especially when kids are involved. the EMF (Electronmagnetic
Field)reading is relatively low at 4-12 milligause but it is a constant
level; as a comparison readings for an electric blanket is 40 and cell
phones tested in our office are 7-800 ! microwaves ovens are 300 standing 2
feet away...in my house readings are 1-2....any help info would be welcomed.
