Jennifer et al,
I'm just waiting to hear what and it is alleged that HFH may or may not have
done in the Bronx. It's easy when you're on a mission to build housing for
poor folks to see any "empty" space as a "bird-in-hand." I , like you and
most of us, want both houses & gardens ( sounds like a good name for a
magazine.) I need to see some proof here in NYC before I act either way. If
there is a genuine conflict between HFH and commuity gardeners here,
mediation is the way to go. We want both affordable housing and gardens.
This was the first negative report that I had ever heard about HFH. I am
waiting to hear more. I am not "dissing" HFH". I want to hear more.
Happy gardening,
Adam
