FW: CYBERGARDENS: GLOBAL GARDENER: Permaculture Videos with BillMollison Sun.,8/19

For our friends in the American Community Gardening Association
Permaculture Videos in the cradle of culture, Brooklyn USA!
( You gotta problem with that?)

Seriously, this is being held at a rather fine independent bookshop that
specializes in books on ecology I attach this link to their website because
many of their titles are quite choice and hard to find.

A favorite of mine:

Transitory Gardens, Uprooted Lives
by Diana Balmori, Margaret Morton, Yale Univ. Press, 1995, $22.50
Shows, in word and pictures, gardens built by homeless or impoverished New
Yorkers. The book offers insight into the meaning of landscape and the place
of a garden in the life of an individual under duress.

The place to be for literate ecotourists visiting Brooklyn:

Sun., Aug. 19
7:00 pm
at Eco Books
192 Fifth Ave., Brooklyn
between Union St. and Sackett St.
travel directions at http://www.ecobooks.com

Best wishes,
Adam Honigman
