help save the Ron Mandella community garden in Sacramento, CA

Sacramento is losing a valuable 30 year old community garden, named the Ron
Mandella CG,  to development.  The cities politicians have already
negotiated a deal with developers to build downtown housing on the only
community garden in the city.  Any resources, information and advice anyone
has on how we (the members of the Garden) can stop this development would be
tremendously appreciated.
