community garden evaluation

Hi Folks,
It's that time again--end of the summer project evaluation's!
Since I've never managed to develop a decent evaluation, I'm asking all of
you out there for your help. I'd like to collect as many as possible, and of
differing focuses (or foci?:) and include them on the ACGA  website for the
benefit of all, but I'm also asking you to send them to Nicole
Markell<pidgitnic@hotmail.com>, whose email is below.

Laura,
I am a fourth year nursing student working on a six week practicum with CHEP
in Saskatoon. I am working on a project involving an evaluation of the
community gardening initiative in our city. CHEP has been evaluating this
program for six years but my practicum enables a more in depth evaluation to
be completed. Jodi Crewe suggested that I contact you regarding obtaining
information related to any models/frameworks that you have used to evaluate
your community gardening program, particularly in the areas of community
involvement, capacity building, gardening skills etc. If you have a spare
moment, it would be great if you could send us any samples of previous
evaluations that you have used for your program. If you would like me to
contact someone else on your staff, feel free to either forward this e-mail
to them or provide a contact address for them.
