Lincoln City Community Garden to hold Open Garden

The Lincoln City Community Garden, located at NW 21st
Street and U.S. Highway 101, is inviting the community
to an Open Garden from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug.
17. The garden is in full bloom thanks to the generous
contributions of many area businesses and individuals
and the hard work of dozens of gardeners.

The Open Garden is an opportunity folks to visit the
garden, get ideas and ask questions. OSU Extension
Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions
and community gardeners will be standing by as well.

Refreshments, including items made from garden-grown
produce, will be provided.

Anyone interested in participating in next year's
garden or in starting a community garden in their
neighborhood is encouraged to attend.

The Lincoln City Community Garden would like to give
special honor and thanks to the following sponsors:
North Lincoln Hospital Foundation; Lincoln County
Master Gardener Association; Toledo Community Garden
via a grant from Siletz Tribe; Devils Lake Rock
Company; City of Lincoln City; TLC Credit Union; Ace
