Most seeds can't survive freezing, and the moisture in a fridge is death on a
stick; the longest-lived seeds have been stored in cool and dry places
(Arizona for 50 + years; Palestine for millennia...)
There may be a way that super-expert rocket scientists can try it
(probably some form of freeze drying), but regular old humans do best with
desiccating packets and tightly sealed jars in a cool dry place.

Why is fridge and freezer bad? One of the EU countries is building a seed
storage in the north to freeze them for the future.
