You know, instead of a complicated method of moving lights up and down it can be very easy to move the seedlings up and down. I use old encyclopedias, adding or subtracting, augmented with the nice little boxes from Clementines, milk crates, whatever I can find.... This also allows for some seedlings being taller than others.
