Colorado Man Dies in Wood Chipper Accident

LOVELAND, Colo. (Dec. 29) - Authorities in Colorado are investigating the death of a man who was apparently pulled into a wood chipper while trimming trees.


The tree service employee and a co-worker had been cutting branches at a home in Loveland yesterday.


After the accident, the co-worker made a phone call for help, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.


Police say the victim was an experienced worker. They're classifying the death as an industrial accident.
