Beds on concrete

Friends,
It appears, in the ever changing world of community gardening, that I am
about to build some raised beds on concrete.  I would greatly appreciate any
tips or know how from any of you who have done this.   There is plenty of
space and a gradual slope to a drain.  Sidewall suggestions?
