Please pass the word about a horticulture therapy training event scheduled
for April 4, 2002 at the Adams County Agricultural and Natural Resources
Center in Gettysburg, PA. "Creating Healing Environments through
Horticulture" is being sponsored by the Penn State Cooperative Extension
Capital Region. The time for the event is 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and the cost of
the event is $30, which covers a continental breakfast, lunch, and hand-out
materials. This event has been designed for Activity Therapists,
Recreational Therapists, Occupational Therapists, landscape architects,
architects, garden designers, Master Gardeners, facility administrators and
others interested in therapeutic gardening applications or horticulture
therapy in clinical environments. Continuing Education Credits will be
available for interested professionals.

Deadline for registration is Monday, March 18, 2002.
