Since my doctor told me to "lose-weight-or-die" :) I have used Stonyfield
Farm's Organic Low Fat Yoghurt for a number of items in my diet ( I'm a fish
eating, lacto-ovo vegetarian). With long, faster walks,  I've managed to
lose a few pounds since January 1. The quart size plastic containers are
even good for carrying coffee grounds and banana peels to the garden compost
bin.  

I think the letter should go out from the board "with lots of 8 by 10
glossies" as Arlo Guthrie sang in his famous, " Alice's Restaurant" oh so
many years ago.

Who better than us?

Stonyfield Farm: Profits for the Planet Program
The Profits for the Planet Program provides funding to efforts that help 
protect or restore the earth. Although there are no geographic restrictions 
on the Profits for the Planet Program, the company is especially interested 
in supporting requests from their new markets in Florida and Texas, as well 
as requests from the Chicago, Denver, and San Francisco areas. There is no 
deadline for applications. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a 
brief letter of inquiry to gage the company's interest in the project 
before putting a lot of time into a proposal.

In addition to funds, Stonyfield Farm often donates product to 
organizations. Fax or email your request to Ellen Chandler or Kristen 
Pierog: 603-437-3935, donation@stonyfield.com. More information about the 
Program can be accessed at the website above.
