Title: veggies and pollution

Im a Swedish journalist writing a book about city gardening. Im searching information about vegetable gardening in the city and pollution from air and soil. Suppose that must be a problem in siome parts of N Y and hopefully there are some researchers who have studied tthis. Do you know any of them?
Best regards
