YOUTH EDUCATOR position begins early to mid-March.  Wasatch Community
Gardens seeks full-time youth educator.  Responsibilities include teaching
youth ages 5-18 at community gardens; Working with a variety of agencies and
a variety of students, including low-income, at-risk and inner-city youth;
Assisting coordination of Experiential Education Program, including
maintaining excellence in curriculum; Assisting in greenhouse production and
maintenance; Assisting with annual events; Training and utilizing volunteers
with classes; and Helping to maintain garden systems.  Requires ability to
perform physical garden labor.  Qualifications include knowledge of and
experience in education, horticulture and/or sustainable organic gardening;
computer and organizational skills.  Bachelors degree in related field
preferred.  Salary based on experience.  Benefits included.  Send cover
