One thing to keep in mind in "snowy Madison" is addressing the weight of
snow on the structure. Here in central Connecticut, we generally remove
heavy/wet snow from our plastic film-covered house if there's more than
3-4 inches accumulation. It's not pretty when they collapse under the
weight.....(they'll hold more than 3-4 inches... that's just a guideline
we tended to use - and at 6-8 inches the plastic is sagging
seriously.....This shouldn't keep you from considering one - it's just a
detail to factor in.
