There will be a fruit tree pruning workshop this Saturday, June 17 at noon at:
Southwark/Queen Village Community Garden
Christian Street between 3d & 4th Sts. in South Philadelphia
Do come join us. Bring some goodies or cold stuff to drink and, of course,
your pruning tools. (If you don't have the latter, come anyway.)
You can tour one of Philly's oldest community gardens (established in 1976),
see our 5-storey mosaic mural, by mural artist and quondam Pew Fellow,
Isaiah Zagar, and maybe even learn a thing or two.
