Ask a Question/Nominate a Green Space

  • Subject: [cg] Ask a Question/Nominate a Green Space
  • From: "Julie Caniglia" <jcaniglia@pps.org>
  • Date: Fri, 1 Jun 2001 13:55:29 -0400
  • Importance: Normal

Two items of interest at Urban Parks Online (http://urbanparks.org):

1) ASK A QUESTION of current expert-in-residence Jutta Mason, a volunteer in
Toronto's Dufferin Grove Park. Jutta has been instrumental in dramatically
"turning around" this neglected urban park through organizing regular
campfires, building an extremely popular communal bake-oven, and other
activities. Mason will take your questions/comments through June 11:

2) NOMINATE AN URBAN GREEN SPACE - or a person or organization related to
one - for one of three Great Parks/Great Cities Awards to be presented by
the Urban Parks Institute at its July conference in New York City:
