NYC Garden Bill - Intro 206

Friends,

Now that the Community Garden Legislation has been introduced, it is crucial
that the City Council hold immediate public hearings in June, for
communities to voice input on the legislation.

Please Don't Let The City Council Forget About Our Gardens!
Call these elected officials and let them know we want them to hold public
hearings as soon as possible in June!  Also, call your city council
representative and make sure that they have signed on to support the
Community Garden legislation (Intro206).

TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION!
1. Call City Council member, Joseph Addabbo jr., Parks Committee Chair:

*Thank Councilmen Addabbo for Co-Sponsoring the legislation and remind him
of his pledge to hold hearings.  Ask him to please schedule public hearings
in June on community gardens.

2. Call City Council Speaker Gifford Miller:

*Thank Speaker Miller for his support of parks and ask him to join
Councilmen Addabbo in holding public hearings in June on community gardens.
