community gardens for senior citizens

I would like to talk to people that may have started a community garden for 
senior adults.  I am the manager of an apartment complex for adults age 62 
and older.  Many would like to garden.  I have the space, but I will need 
funds and some guideline for making it work.  I would like to create raised 
individual beds. I would appreciate talking to anyone that has been involved 
in a similiar project. I am especially interested in ideas for funding the 
project!
