moving

Hi

I am moving to Union City, California and want to know what I should stay
away from
in this area.  I have a palm tree very tall in front of my mobile home and a
holywood juniper that has gone crazy - it has taken away all the sun light so
I will be cutting both of them down.  Would smaller palms do ok - how about
roses.  I can't have too much perfume or bees because of my allergies, but I
want color.  Can you help?
