Great NY Times Community Gardening Article

In yesterday's NY Times ( Thursday 03/29/01) Anne Raver wrote the article we
hoped she'd write, on NYC community gardens, entitled, "New Hope for
Community Gardeners." Folks in the NYC CG community have been talking to her
( me included) for years, and finally she done did it. I'm sorry that I
don't have a scanner for the article and that the NYT doesn't have it up on
their web server yet.

I can fax a xerox to anyone who has a scanner and wants to disseminate it.

> Hi All,
> I was intrigued by David's request and Adam's recent mention of "Community
> Development through Gardening:State and Local Policies Transforming Urban
> Public Space" by Shukose, Jane E. so I followed up and got this back from
> the U of Baltimore Law library:
> "Prof. Schukoske's article can be found online, at the New York
> University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy's website:
> It's the 3rd article from the top. You do need to have Adobe Acrobat
> reader in order to read the article, however, because it is in PDF
> format."
> I'll put the link on the ACGA website for future use (Adam take note)
