looking for recent info for nyc

Hi,

My name is Joan Chen and I am a planning grad student at 
Cornell. I was wondering if there is someone out there 
who could answer a few questions for me, or at least 
refer me to someone who could. 

I am writing my thesis on NYC community gardens 
(specifically lower east side) and have gotten as 
much written research and articles as I think I am 
likely to get without getting duplicative.  

I've been trying to find a person to interview so I can 
ask about the most recent goings-on in the CG movement, 
especially in light of the new mayoral administration 
and post-9/11.

If anyone thinks you may be able to help me, please
