Starting a Community Garden in a Rural Area

Greetings all!  I am starting a community Garden in Haywood County- the Mountains of North Carolina.  Despite the fact we are a rural county, there is lack of farmable land and we are in the process of donating the use of a 4 acre hayfield.
   
  I would greatly appreciate any contacts or information you can provide about starting a garden in a rural area.
