Community Garden Workshop
"Wildlife Habitat" is the subject of a Community Garden Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Robbins Park Community Garden in Cornelius.
Gardening and environmental experts will show participants how to make their yards attractive to wildlife. Cost of the program is $10. The garden is off Interstate-77 Exit 28. To register or for details, call (704) 336-4304 or check www.wipeoutwaste.com.
The program is sponsored by Cornelius Park and Recreation and by the county's Piedmont Landscaping and Naturescaping Training program.
