Please share this email! FoodShare Toronto will be giving two free on-line
workshops which start next week - one to explore FoodShare's Food Security
Vision and the other on Growing Sprouts and Seedlings. Read on for more
details on how to register.
FoodShare's Food Security Vision - A three part On-Line Workshop

Readings and discussions exploring a range of food issues from a FoodShare
perspective.
How are hunger, health and agriculture connected in food issues? What are
policies to address these issues? How do we best communicate about food
problems? Can a mission driven non-profit be entrepreneurial?

Growing Sprouts and Seedlings - A Three Week On-Line Workshop
November 10 - 28
Learn everything you need to know to grow hydroponic sprouting and seedling
sprouts.
Sprouts are highly nutritious, don’t require a lot of fancy equipment to
grow and are the epitomy of urban agriculture. Useful for home sprouters and
community organizations interested in growing sprouts on a larger scale for
food programs.
Sign-up prepared to participate in online discussions about sprouting and
what you'd like to learn from the facilitators and others in the workshop!
