grant proposal suggestions sought

I'm a student in a grant-writing class at UC Irvine, and I'd like to
write a proposal having to do with community gardening.  I have an ag
background, but I'm new to community gardening.  What sort of projects
could I write proposals for (in So. Calif.), and for what organizations?
