Fallen East-Side Activist & Community Garden Supporter

Franz was a good guy who loved community gardens and gardeners. He walked
the walk. We'll miss him. Again if you're in town...

Franz Lehman's Memorial is this
Sept. 17th
2pm at
St Mark's Church in the Bowery

Throughout his life, Franz fought against fascism in World War ll,
against racism, police brutality and for affordable housing and tenants
rights, to name just just a few of the many issues Franz supported. He
was an active member of many organizations, including Met Council of
Housing, The Lower East Side Call for Justice, Committees of
Correspondence, Labor Research Association and CODA.
Please join us to honor his life and committment to social justice.
