Devastation

Dear Adam,

     Your descriptions have made this horrendous event a bit more real to someone so far from the site of so much devastation and sadness. I spent the night watching the reports with a close friend and former New Yorker, and all he could do was repeat over and over, "you have no idea".                                                                                                                    

      Reading your note brought tears to my eyes.  I'm thinking about you and your graciousness when I visited you in the Clinton Community Garden last November.  I'm also thinking of the other NYC community gardeners that I met and enjoyed sharing some time with.  I hope all of you, your family, friends and garden compadres(and theirs) are healthy and safe.
