Hi there,
These are just the thoughts of someone far from the tragedy, in response to 
your query about a possible message in the actions of last week. A small 
voice keeps reminding me that we, as Americans, must better educate 
ourselves  about our governments role in world affairs. I think that too 
often the US goverment has held itself above all other concerns. We take a 
lot for granted here (myself included). Clearly our lives are as valuable 
and fragile as anyones in this world.
