Re: citrus companions?


I have herbs under my citrus trees (in pots): thyme, oregano, marjoram.
Each in their many permantations, silver, etc. Most are culinary, but others
are not.  There is a lot of sun, however.  Still, unless it's really dark
shade (in which case, why haven't you laced out your trees?), most herbs
should do ok.  I also have a few bulbs (small iris, freesias) under some.  I
have garlic in just about every pot I own, the cloves don't get very large,
but it's so much better than the garlic in the market I can live with that.
One pot has the alpine strawberry...  In my realm, there are about 20 pots,
not a one has only one plant in it.
