Fwd: Growing Communities Workshop in NYC

  • Subject: Fwd: [cg] Growing Communities Workshop in NYC

Friends,

The "Growing Communites Workshop," and its teaching materials are the best
guide to organizing community gardens by building community from the ground up,
that I have ever seen.

I've been playing community garden for thirty years and read the book with an
extremely skeptical eye - but I was wowed. The book and course are well worth
the time and effort. Betsy Johnson, the American Community Gardening
Associations interim Executive Director ran the Boston Gardens for a long time, and
really knows her stuff - a wise woman.

If you go to one community garden training or seminar in the next year, go to
this one.

Everbest,.

Volunteer, Clinton Community Garden
