Quiet even :-)

By the way, I now live in Central Otago, not in Christchurch.
Central Otago has a dry climate, cold winters with frosts to below -10 deg C 
sometimes, and a very dry often hot summers.

Not at all conducive to growing ferns. Too difficult unless you invest in a very 
good climate-controlled greenhouse, which I can not afford.

I miss my special microclimate in Christchurch.
