As Charles noted:
Reggie is right, of course. The plant almost certainly is MicrosorumIf it's currently in a peat moss + earth potting mix, shall I transplant it? It does not seem to drain very well... Shall I spray the fern to enhance humidity?
thailandicum (syn. steerii).
It can be grown from spores. It has been very slow-growing for me. As
noted, it gets its best color in low light. It is not more difficult than
tree ferns, but different.
It seems to grow well in regular potting media (peat, perlite) with the
addition of a little orchid bark, fine aliflor, or some other material to
enhance drainage.
Does it kill the fern placing it currently in halfshade?
thanks
Peter
