about Adiantum caudatum

According to what I have in my fern CDROM, the distribution of this species 
is as follows:

Adiantum caudatum L.; Mant. 308 (1771)
                Distribution: Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, Fujian, 
Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Taiwan, Yunnan, peninsular 
Malaysia (once collected from Tasek Chenderoh, Perak), India (throughout 
from the plains to lower hills), Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Capverdes, Riunion,
Rodrigues, Congo, ?Seychelles, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Thailand, 
*Jamaica  ( * = introduced)
                Trivial names: Trailing maidenhair
                Remarks: philippense agg.
