just had to have one of the two pumps on my water system replaced. one pump sucks water out of the well and into the aerator. the other pump sucks water out of the aerator and stuffs it into the pressure tank. it was the latter that went into decline.
there are times when i am really glad i work for a company that, among other things, digs wells and installs irrigation systems. this is one of them.
