I have lots of Louisiana iris. It does very well in our climate. Mine is planted in a shade garden, but my neighbor has many plants on the east side of her house. They are so very pretty.

Jim, I have only a few bearded iris left in my garden because the foliage looks so ratty for most of the season. I love the Siberians and Japanese Iris for the gorgeous blooms but also for the foliage that adds such a nice texture to the garden all season.
