OK- well- it is 16 inches tall right now. So, I'll try to measure in fall and see how far it got!

Last year I had the welder make me this contraption- 2 trellis, that connect
together with enough space for the plant in-between... seems to work!

I just bought a sweet autumn clematis a few weeks ago (my first), planted it at one of the posts for the arbor over the back patio, so hoping it will climb up and over it. We have many of these at work and this is the first year they bloomed. It smelled wonderful on the back courtyard area. Too back they always keep those does set to autolock- so no one ever goes out there, because you can't get back into the building.
