Re: Weather
Well, you can't hold this woman down for long. I just got a message from
her:
"...MG wise I'm teaching a composting class Wed. a.m. at our extension
office and again in early May... I'm also going to establish a native plant
plot in our MG bed beside the library. I believe it will be about 10x10 ft.
Friday I'm going to a lecture by a native plant nursery. "
Existing groups can be very difficult to break in to. When I became an MG,
I was given a few tasks to help unburden some other MGs and was met with
great resistence. I was threatened, told to know my place, that I couldn't
participate in anything that already was being done, even told I had joined
the MGs under a black cloud. I weathered it and now I'm doing a lot of
things - mostly things no one else would do and that really need doing and
some things that were being done very poorly, I've made some strides in
straightening them out.
