Little bit off subject here, but how come you've got trash trees like cottonwoods growing in your neighborhood?

I think someone did try a regular ladder, but it was a tall tree, they

Don't know about Indiana but around here my local PD calls me! We have alot of conservation type people also that will come in. Mostly I have had to help with owls! Only one water foul till the game warden picked him up! Didn't anyone have a ladder? I know they are a pesky bird but I would think someone could have done something! How inhumane is that! I'm not sure what is wrong with the folks around here. Everything is
always
someone else's problem.
A locla column today wrote about a lttle boy who saw a great blue
heronhanging upside down in a cottonwood tree, trying to get untangled.Theycalled animal control, the fire department, the DNR, all of which said
they
couldn't do anything. After 6 hrs the bird was bloody from the high
windsand its efforts to get loose so DNR authorized shooting it - if anyone
happened to have a gun, which finally someone found. Unfortunately,
thecarcass is still hanging there. They said someone finally called atreeservice the next day, hoping they can get it down. I'm not sure what should be done, but don't you think the secondlargestcounty in Indiana should have some plan in place for such problems?
