You'd also think that, if your neighbor knows of your severe allergy, the cat would be kept in. Mine don't have anybody to bother -- except the neighbor from whence their communal ancestor came.

If you figure out a good, safe cat repellant, let me know. My neighbor's
cat roams into our yard and our garage all the time. If he gets into the
garage, my eyes swell shut and I have breathing difficulties and a large
doctor bill. I don't want to hurt him just because I'm so very allergic to
cats, but I would like to discourage him from coming into the garage when it
is open. (It's sometimes a problem in the garden if he's been laying in one
of the beds and I start to work in it, too.) You'd think with the smell of
4 bulldogs in the yard and garage, the cat would not be so brazen! LOL!!!
Blessings,
Bonnie

what do I use to keep a cat from sharpening its claws on the trunk of
my bottle palm? Must be the neighbor's cat, which is here a lot; Beans
has a preference for one of Ms Fatma's Oriental rugs. Anyway, it's
doing a fair job of shredding the boot of one of the fronds--so it's
happened more than once [unless it's a Florida panther--and wouldn't
that be neat!].
