Re: Tony Avent in NYTimes
Two years ago I bought 'lola' when it was advertized
as zone 5 and 6 ft tall.
Don't know if it made it this year yet, but did last
winter. I have yet to see a bloom and it is no where
near that size but it was a small plant to start with.
I really expected it to be larger last year. I see
they are offering a larger plant now.

So I am wondering if in the northern zones if it
doesn't have enough time to come out of dormancy and
grow enough to bloom here? I have had other ones (I
don't remember which one) that where not to be as
large and they did bloom late in the season. Lasted
about 4 years and just never returned.
