Re: Fwd: Military Tribute...
Those make me cry! When my son called Sunday, he said the truck in front
of his truck was hit and exploded. They lost their translator from
Bagdahd, two boys were hit pretty badly with shrapnel and were thrown 40
feet from the truck, and one of his friends almost died, his leg blown
to bits and he was bleeding to death. My son said he went into automatic
pilot and got the first aid kit out, put a tournequet on him and stopped
the bleeding until the medics could get there. He was flown to Germany
and then will go home to the states to be with his wife. He doesn't know
if he will lose his leg or not. My son said he hadn't slept in
days...and sounded so tired.

A friend from my church sent me this. It is beautifully done and
quite moving, especially for those with loved ones in Iraq or
Afghanistan.
Kitty: I mailed the books to you today.
