I do assume I am referring to one particular species of Viburnum. I too have
some Viburnum, a Bridal Wedding Veil Something-Or-Another Viburum which is
simply stunning in bloom and has no fragrance/odor. But the kind I am
thinking of, and my mother had a significant amount of it on one side of their
garage, and it is all over our city, stinks, IMHO. It is a fast growing
variety and grows to a very tall height hedge, some 8'-9'+. I was looking for
some once because it has such showy blooms but I can't find it and I don't
know the name of the variety. Sorry.

Which Viburnum? I have several kinds on my property that are beautiful and
have no offensive smell.
