rotator cuff surgery

Bonnie,
Did you go to a physical therapist for a few weeks? When did you start being able to do exercises? I dread having my arm in a sling for 6 weeks. I asked every way I could if I could just do something during the 6 weeks but he warned me of pulling out the stitches.

I had that surgery several years ago. One suggestion: as you begin to do
your exercises, do them every time you use the bathroom. In that way, you
will spread them throughout the day. When I did them this way, I didn't
even have to go to therapy as I progressed on my own. By the time the
doctor released me, I could reach my hands in back.

I don't think I will be making it either. I am scheduled to have surgery
on
my rotator cuff on April 24th. Then be in a sling for 6 weeks.
I am trying to get my garden where I can stand to look out at it for 6
weeks
without getting to work in it.
The speakers at the MG Conference sounded good, but just won't work for
me
this year.
I think Ok state conference is in Claremore in May but that won't work
either. My son is a senior and all that is happening in May will make it
impossible to add anything to the calendar. I had thought I might go and
meet Jesse there. :-( But not this year!
I gotta get outside... it is 77, no wind and clear beautiful skies!
