This weekend is the Shark Tooth Festival, which could be an interesting paean to paleontology but in the hands of the Venice CofC is a tacky bazaar of aluminum siding merchants, vendors of Holiday Inn art work, and inept local ceramists and silk-flower arrangers. But it's our most popular local event, very closely edging out the Italian Food Festival.
