Siam Tulip

Had to get out of the office at lunch and went to Home Depot to wander
around.  Found a Curcuma alismatifolia "Pink" for less than $10.00 -
nice sized healthy plant.  Now, I know they're out of my zone so can I
pot them up in a well draining medium and put them on the cool floor of
the greenhouse over winter, making sure they don't get overwatered; or,
should I pull them out of the soil and store as I would other tender
bulbs, tubers, rhizomes?
